Her latest achievement is earning the Grade 5 certification in violin, awarded by ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Chia Yiu’s passion is to inspire the young to pursue their talent in performing arts, such as music, drama and dance. At Westlake International School, she pursues her passion to develop students’ confidence to perform, and to inculcate fun learning within a creative musical environment. She believes the school opens the doors of opportunity through the music curriculum, school productions, participating in the orchestra or choir, and by learning new instruments.
