Loh Choy Mun has 9 years of teaching experience. She had taught in Chinese Primary School and Chinese Private Secondary School before teaching in Westlake International School. She also worked as a Chinese division tutor while studying for her Master degree in Nanyang Technology University, Singapore. She helped the professors to conduct the tutorial class about reading and writing as well as giving lessons to college students. She graduated from the following programmes: Master of Arts, major in Chinese Studies (Nanyang Technology University, Singapore with scholarship, Bachelor of Arts, major in History (Jinan University, Guang Zhou, China), Diploma of Education (New Era College, Kajang, Malaysia). The thesis has been published in the Collected Papers of the First Malaysian Sinology Conference. She believes “everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tress, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”- Albert Einstein. She thinks that the school should be a place for children to acknowledge and develop their talent, their ability and their motivation.
